I have been long time searching for a practice that would fulfil my yearning for a lost connection with self. For a long time I felt as if I was on a road to nowhere! until I found the dance, hallelujah:)
Movement of the body brought new energy and a breath of fresh air into my life, and I found a new community!
I have 6 years of experience practicing conscious dance starting with 5Rhythms. It was a build up to a Movement Medicine workshop a few years ago with Susannah Darling Khan, which impelled me to go down the Movement Medicine path and lead to a professional training.
I found purpose and light, which I searched for, while facing many shadows.
I am very  happy to join the teachers circle as  a Movement Medicine Teacher in Training. "By learning you will teach; by teaching you will learn", as a Latin proverb says.
My medicine comes from my love and passion for life, love of the dance and play, and a deep compassion for suffering in this world. It also relates to feeling not good enough, disconnected from myself and the Earth to full gratitude and acceptance for where I am in my life.

Why dance? Dance help us to relax, play and to focus (mindfulness in movement, yeah?), which brings new ideas and flow back into our bodies and lives.
Imagine flowing water and a stagnant pond - the motionless water isn’t good to drink, its not fresh and not good for the system. Whereas the free-flowing water mountain stream with it’s bubbly energy is a joy to behold and imbibe. Similarly dance frees our stuck selves to allow expression of a more aware, energised and healthy human being.
