To enjoy conscious dance we need to understand that it's not about performance, goal achieving, body shaping, calories burning, looking great.
So why dance?
Because it makes us feel more alive and it brings us to the present moment;
Because it has a power to transform how we feel, both physically and emotionally;
Because it gives us freedom to engage in movement which connects us to the space within as well as with others, in a playful and meaningful way.
Each session is an invitation to explore your creativity, listen to your body and feel simply and fully alive. It's about finding movement that is supportive and nourishing. It's about learning to listen and follow your intuition. There are no steps to learn, you don't need experience and all moves are welcome.

I love dancing. But it hasn't been always that way. I didn't think "I could" dance. Until I discovered that there is no right or wrong way of moving on the dance floor. I found a way to acceptance,  a community, my teachers and took on a professional training.
And here I am.
And I want to share this beautiful practice with you.

About Bernadeta: she is an advocate for dance and any practice which is liberating the body, heart and mind (cold water dipping, connection with nature, writing, painting, clowning etc) from the constant voice of not good enough, the inner critic etc.
Bernadeta trained with The School of Movement Medicine extensively (5years +) which is preeminent in the field of conscious dance and attended many 5R, Open floor and Soul motion workshops. She has been teaching for the last 6 years. Her style is engaging and playful, with a lot of depth and light.
