From a participant: Thank you so much for an inspiring experience and a new way of thinking about dance connections .
I have been experiencing different modalities on how to tap into one’s own body-wisdom for a few years now. How surprising to find process work in combination with movement, to drop as deeply and quickly as weekend workshops do, but this time within the hour. As if time is the ultimate measure to rate or recommend a practice. I continue to love workshops and now I love this practice too.

What it is about - Being an activist for the soul
All is movement. All is relationship. But how do I work with this in a way that feels right, healthy, providing growth and substance in my life? In each session we will explore how our bodies move, how we relate from the different places inside us to meet others, the world, and stay true to who we are. Our focus will be on what feels good, right, vital, expanding these qualities to meet our wholeness in the dance. There will be an opportunity to bring words to the experience in a one to one facilitation while supported and witnessed by the group.
This is a combination of dance and Process Work. In doing the work, we create change in ourselves and therefore support change in the world around us.
During the sessions - Healing happens in the body - witnessed with compassion
We will use movement and the spoken word creating the poetry that is present in our bodies.

We will
- hold space for each other,
- dance, feeling into our current physical state and our mental mood,
- have an opportunity to explore one to one,
- be the witness, feeling into those same places in ourselves,
- be witnessed as we step into a new layer of trust in our bodies,
- over time learn to trust our body's movement - quirky, strange, pleasant.

Following on from my Spring offering of ‘becoming’ wI invite you to join me for the winter edition. Scotland in December is very special, the chill and the dark will be lit up by movement, connection, glittering stars, candles….
This is a rare opportunity to work with me in-person, just as it is a rare and delicious opportunity for me to interact with you, on the same dance floor. In recent years my work has evolved to being more online and I also dedicate a lot of time to training the next generation of Open Floor teachers.
The venue is Cluny Hill College, part of the Findhorn Foundation. It’s a grand Victorian building with a wonderful large wooden dance floor that is a former ballroom. Tasty vegetarian food will nourish us as we gather in the darkest days of the year to explore how Open Floor movement practice can support the discovery and integration of what has been and who we are becoming.
